Lasers have many uses in modern dentistry including soft tissue crown lengthening and troughing prior to crowning a tooth, operculotomies to reduce the incidence of infection from impacted wisdom teeth, re-contouring the gum to improve appearance and removing fraenae to help close gaps beneath teeth.
There is very little pain or discomfort following treatment and the surgical sites heal very quickly.
